Logo and Packaging
The creation of a logotype and corresponding packaging design using the word 'concept' is showcased from initial experimentation, sketches, and prototyping to final execution.
Printmaking
Drawing inspiration from Paul Elliman's Found Font, simple everyday objects can be transformed into the alphabet. Utilising a compact beauty mirror, printmaking/ink art helped to create silhouettes and arrangements into letters. Illustrator was used to enhance and refine a few selected prints.
Logotype Development
The word 'concept' was assigned to develop further into a logo and logotype. Further utilising Illustrator, ideation of possible designs/colours were explored. Two key typefaces were explored to achieve different outcomes: Cooper Black and Bodoni.
Logotype Development
Using the designed logotypes, concept ideation of potential packaging was generated that best suit the design. Multiple designs were brought forward into crease patterns to allow for prototyping.
Final Packaging
Designed using Adobe Illustrator as part of a Product Design, University of Canterbury individual project (2023).
